Revealed during the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, the Lifan 820EV is the electric version of the Lifan 820 mid-size sedan. The Lifan 820EV is powered by a 190 hp electric motor with a torque of 440 N·m. According to official numbers by Lifan, top speed of the 820EV is 150km/hr and the maximum range is 400km.Engine options for the 820 includes a 4-cylinder engines 1.8 L engine producing 133 hp with a torque of 168N·m, and a 4-cylinder engines 2.4 L engine producing 167 hp with a torque of 226N·m.[3]

The Lifan X50 is a Chinese five-door Subcompact crossover produced by the Lifan Motors, division of Lifan Group.[4] Positioning below the Lifan X60 compact crossover, it was initially unveiled at the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show, and it is based on the same platform as the subcompact Lifan 530 sedan, being essentially the lifted hatchback version of the Lifan 530
The Lifan X60 was also assembled in Iran and had many problems. One of the major drawbacks of the car gearbox is a steep first-gear ratio, causing vibration on initial acceleration. The drivetrain of the Lifan X60 was originally designed for the Lifan 620, and the engine was later shared with the heavy body of the X60, and as a result, it performed poorly. The clutch of the X60 heats up and burns when driving uphill due to the tall first-gear ratio of the gearbox.
