The Kia Picanto is a city car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Kia since 2004. It is also known as the Kia Morning (Korean: 기아 모닝, romanized: Gia Moning in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan (first two generations) and Chile, Kia EuroStar in Taiwan (first generation), Kia New Morning in Vietnam and the Naza Suria or Naza Picanto in Malaysia (first generation).The Picanto is primarily manufactured at the Donghee joint-venture plant in Seosan, South Korea,though some countries locally assemble complete knock-down versions of the car.The vehicle has been developed in compliance with the "light car" (Korean: 경차, romanized: Gyeongcha) category in South Korea which offers tax incentives for vehicles with exterior dimensions below 3,600 mm (141.7 in) in length and 1,600 mm (63.0 in) in width.
The Geely LC, sold in its home market as the Geely Panda or the Gleagle Panda, is a city car produced by the Chinese manufacturer Geely from November 2008 to 2016. In 2010 the LC scored 45.3 in C-NCAP crash tests, making it China's first locally researched and developed compact car to be awarded a 5-star rating, and it is subsequently the safest Chinese hatchback as of 2011.The LC was able to achieve the above despite a development process that relied more on computer simulations than actual crash tests. In 2017, The Panda was replaced by a facelifted version of the car known as the Geely Yuanjing X1.

The Volkswagen Fox is a subcompact car produced and designed by Volkswagen of Brazil and sold in Latin America since 2003 and in Europe from 2005 to 2011, where it was sold as the city car offering. Currently the Fox is produced as a three-door and five-door hatchback. There is also a mini SUV version called Fox Xtreme (previously CrossFox) and a mini MPV/station wagon model called Suran, SpaceFox, SportVan or Fox Plus depending on the market.

The Suzuki Baleno is a subcompact hatchback produced by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki in India since September 2015. It was previewed by the iK-2 concept car that was first shown at the 85th Geneva Motor Show in March 2015.Prior to this, the "Baleno" nameplate had been applied to the Cultus Crescent in numerous markets and sedan version of Aerio and SX4 in Indonesia. Since June 2019, it is also marketed at Toyota dealerships in India as the Toyota Glanza,and since September 2020 in several African countries as the Toyota Starlet.
The Suzuki Swift (Japanese: スズキ・スイフト, Suzuki Suifuto) is a subcompact car produced by Suzuki. The vehicle is classified as a B-segment marque in the European single market, a segment referred to as a supermini in the British Isles. Prior to this, the "Swift" nameplate had been applied and purchased from Swift Engineering (previously known as Swift Cars)[citation needed] to the rebadged Suzuki Cultus in numerous export markets since 1983 and became its own model since 2004.Currently, the Swift is positioned between Ignis and Baleno in Suzuki hatchback global lineup.
